Married to my lovely wife Jayne Faust for 33 years. One daughter Margaret 19, two sons Kyle 18, John 29 his wife Amada, 3 grandsons, Brayan, Alex, Emi. My proud building heritage started in 1920s when my grandfather Cecil Jackson began his carpenter contractor business in Rockford OH. His 1st 2 sons, Charles and Ted grew up working at a young age and were well trained to his high standards. In the 1950s Cecil Jackson and Sons were providing a full building & remodeling service. My youngest Uncle Paul Jackson attended O.S.U. & became a civil engineer. I too grew up in this heritage and by age five I would deliver cold drinks to my dad and Uncle Ted. I also got to spend time with my grandpa J in the shop and we would build anything that I asked to do. At 12yrs I had a full time summer job as a laborer and I could not learn fast enough from there. Yes there is a great heritage of building in my family and I would love for it to continue. Forcing or willing it to my successor would never work. I simply pray that my kids and grandkids will be able to find a passion in their lives as I have & we will see what happens.
